                                                Do you know the person who has transformed a person in to an Ashram? Do you know the police officer who has trained prisoners in businessman, students and professionals? It is Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman IPS officer. Nothing can stop those who have a strong will and commitment to tack on challenges courageously. In fact, challenges bring out the best in them. Kiran bedi is one such courageous person.
                                            Kiran Bedi, born on 14th June in 1949,  in Amritsar was interested in tennis and other sports. It was her dreams to become a police officer.
                                           She did not rest until her dream was fulfilled. She has proved to be a hard-working, strict and law-abiding officer.
                                            Her efforts have been recognized nationally and internationally. She was awarded the Magsaysay Award, At present. She has also been awarded the Padma Vibhushan for her services to the nation.
